Vidya Krishnan is Senior Fellow at PARI.  She was a Nieman Fellow at Harvard University in 2021. Her first book Phantom Plague: How Tuberculosis Shaped Our History was released in February 2021. Her second book White Lillies, an essay about grief, poetry and history was published by Westland in April 2025. She has written for New York Times, The Atlantic and Caravan, magazine among others.

He has not won any writing awards/fellowships either but he has not had any FIRs filed against him for offending sensibilities. He writes about caste and social elites and is the author of ‘Meet the Savarnas’. He also runs a podcast and performs unfunny ‘comedy’ under the moniker of ‘Buffalo Intellectual’. He is a professor of cultural studies and has over 15 years of experience spanning corporate roles, civil society and academia, and is associated with grassroots Ambedkarite mobilizing.

Maithreyi Karnoor is the author of three works of fiction. Sylvia is her first novel, her second novel HettavaraNeralu is in Kannada, and Gooday Nagar, her collection of short stories, has its official launch at GALF 2026. She has translated two Kannada novels into English and has won the Kuvempu Bhasha Bharati Prize for both. She is a former Charles Wallace India Trust fellow at Literature Across Frontiers and University of Wales Trinity St David. She is a two-time finalist of The Montreal International Poetry Prize and her debut poetry collection Skinny Dipping in Tiger Country will be published in the UK in April. Currently, she is doing a practice-based PhD in creative writing at a Welsh university for which she is writing her third novel.

He co-wrote the Netflix series She with Imtiaz Ali, served as a script consultant for Badhaai Do, and worked as a Script Creative at Red Chillies Entertainment.
